CXC Management CC South Africa is a service for contractors and we attempt to assist wherever possible and practicable. We have a range of additional services, which include but are not limited to the following: (please do not hesitate to ask if we can assist in other areas). The mandatory insurance's i.e. workers compensation and public liability are covered and paid on your behalf as a part of the fee charged. Other life/protection plans are available at additional cost. These are arranged. You can choose the level of life cover and (income protection) to suit your personal requierments. We run a business, which is a service to contractors. To this end, we are sometimes able to provide sponsorship to a limited number of overseas contractors with 'specialist skills' at a minimal cost, should you have a contract offer. The major advantage of arranging sponsorship through cXc is that you are not tied to the agency that may have placed you. cXc specialises in paying contractors. This is our ONLY business, and we pride ourselves in doing it well, and to the best advantage for our contractors WITHIN THE LEGAL LIMITS of those countries in which we operate. For this reason, we are far more aware of what can and cannot be done than the general practicing tax accountant. We are able to provide personal guidance on tax and refer you to the appropriate persons for advice. The banking process can be a time consuming maze for the unsuspecting. We can provide guidance and introductions at our bank for contractors. Accommodation Reference Letter
Many real estate agencies seek references from previous landlords and/or agents prior to accepting applications for rental premises. We are able to assist here with letters of introduction and explanation of your work circumstances. Many of our contractors come from innovative agencies who support our organisation. Whilst cXc does not find work for you, we are able to provide an e-mail 'resume' distribution service to these agencies, with a request for them to assist you in finding a contract that suits your skill set. E-mail cxcsa@mweb.co.za with a plain text version of your resume should you require this service. Cellular phones are recognised by all as an important tool of our trade. SARS allows 90% tax deduction for cell phones. We suggest that you use a pre-paid card and buy your phone outright. The FBT law is very broad in its application, much broader than the following examples suggest. Where fringe benefits are provided the employer has an oblgation to deduct FBT from the Employee and be registered with the SARS for this purpose.
